We offer FREE Function Room (The Priory) Hire for birthday parties, hen’s parties, work and corporate functions, fundraisers, Christmas or engagement parties.
The Blind Monk PRIORY is Beaumont Street's premier venue to suit any occasion holding between 30–70 people (30 minimum)
The front bar and restaurant area can hold up to 100 people

Can I play my own music?
You sure can, (in back function area only) just need to bring a phone or laptop with an audio jack and we can plug it in our system, so you can rock out to your own jams all night!

Do I have to order function platters?
yes, we do require a minimum spend of $400 on function food

Do I need a deposit?

Yes, we take a $5 pp deposit for any function over 16ppl. Deposit fully refunded on arrival. for back Priory room functions deposit refunded once over 30ppl min booking requirements met

Can I start a bar tab for my function?
You sure can, we can start a bar tab to any amount

Do you have any drink packages?
Not currently, it is order as you go.

Is there a minimum spend?
yes we have a minimum spend of $400 on function food and require min 30ppl to book the function area

Can I decorate the function area?
You sure can, make it your own space! As long as there is no permanent marks, go for it!

Can I bring a cake or food?
We do allow birthday cakes and can store them in our cool-room, we do not charge cakeage. No other outside food is permitted.

If I cancel, can I have my deposit refunded?
Yes if given at least 3 weeks notice.

Can I bring children?
You sure can, we have no restrictions on children.

Is it air conditioned?
Yes, the area is fully air conditioned.
